The bottom of the products is covered with white felt. The product is treated with a stone protection coating to make it more resistant to moisture.

During the casting process, air bubbles are formed, so the surface is not completely smooth. This makes each piece even more unique and rustic. The photos clearly show most of the surface, these are not quality defects - if you need more photos before ordering, I will be happy to send them. In the case of colored, painted pieces, the colors shown on the screen may differ slightly from reality.

Products made with Finnish lichen are maintenance-free and do not need to be watered. However, be careful not to expose them to direct moisture and sunlight! Keep them away from high heat sources. Lichen preserved with glycerine “feeds” on the humidity of the air, so higher humidity is ideal for it (e.g. bathroom). If it loses its elasticity and hardens due to lower humidity, keep it under high humidity for a while to regain its spongy texture.
